For our first assignment you will create a travel poster based on a place that is significant to you.

For HW due Tues:
1. Gather images / photographs of your place
2. Create a list of words associated with your place
3. Note any particular events / stories associated with your place
4. Create some rough sketches that present your place from different perspectives

Supplies for AM class:

• Acrylic paint - ivory black and titanium white
• Nylon #12 paint brush, one inch wide
• Roll of 3M brand, 3/4" drafting tape (*must be drafting tape)
• Plastic container to rinse your brush
• Palette Paper (or other surface to mix paint on)
• 2 sheets of Illustration Board - single weight, cold pressed, white 15" x 20"
• X-acto Knife
• Cutting Mat
• Ruler
• Sketchbook
• Pencils
• Eraser
