Project III…Travelling to the Final Stretch
in Pairs
Project III’s direction is product design
driven. In keeping with our theme of travel this last project is a team
initiative.
Pairs of (your choosing) will produce 6
concept sketches and 1 prototype of an article of travel
The pairs should have a discussion about
what travel means to each of them. Communication is key in-group work.
The themes of the concepts may draw inspiration from Project
I and from Project II or if your team is very organized a combination of both
from each team-member providing a very directional narrative to the concept of
travel and arrival in space and time….
Materials
for Prototype- Paper, glue, tape, staples…no
wire, no plastic -Color, pattern are allowed the prototype must fit on your desk and
be no larger than a toaster or a large shoe box…it can have several elements, and objects, made of
paper placed in it to give scale and realism…
CLEAN! Effective, documented process and of
course WELL-CRAFTED work is
the goal….
